This notice applies to coms.up0.uk, the provisional website for the proposed Centre for Online Marketplace Safety CIC, working brand COMS.
The site does not set first-party or third-party cookies. It does not use local storage, session storage, analytics tags, advertising pixels or behavioural tracking. For that reason, no cookie-consent banner is currently displayed.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on a device when a website is used. Similar technologies can also store or access information through a browser or device.
2. What this website uses
The site uses ordinary HTML, CSS and a small script for navigation and displaying the current year. That script does not read from or write to browser storage.
The server creates access logs for security, reliability and troubleshooting. Server logs are not cookies and do not place information on your device. Their use is explained in the privacy notice.
3. External websites
The site links to government guidance and other external websites. If you follow a link, the destination website may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Its own privacy and cookie information applies.
4. Future changes
If analytics, embedded services or another technology that stores or accesses information on a visitor’s device is introduced, this notice will be updated before deployment. Consent controls will be provided where required.
5. Contact
Until the proposed CIC is incorporated, IRELCO LTD operates this provisional website. Questions about this notice can be sent to hello@irelco.co.uk.
