Centre for Online Marketplace Safety CIC is the proposed legal name of a Community Interest Company that is not yet incorporated. COMS is its working brand. Until incorporation and a formal transfer or replacement of these terms, the website is operated by IRELCO LTD.

2. Information purpose
The site provides general consumer education and information about the proposed CIC, its intended public-interest work and routes that may help a person respond to a product concern.
Content is general information, not legal, medical, regulatory, testing, certification or other professional advice. It should not replace instructions from a manufacturer, emergency service, regulator, qualified professional or other competent authority.
3. Product-safety boundary
COMS is not a regulator. A consumer concern, listing signal, automated match or other submission is not by itself a confirmed safety finding. Evidence capture and controlled human review are required before a consequential conclusion is reached.
If there is an immediate threat to life, fire or serious injury, contact the appropriate emergency service. Stop using a product if it appears unsafe and avoid taking risks to test a suspected fault.
4. No donations or transactions
The website does not currently accept donations, payments, memberships, product reports or account registrations. Donation buttons shown on the site are demonstrations only. No contract or payment obligation is created by viewing or using them.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious material, scrape it in a way that impairs service, or use its content to impersonate COMS, the proposed CIC or IRELCO LTD.

Links to government services, campaigns and other websites are provided for convenience and context. External sites are controlled by their respective operators. A link does not mean that their content, availability or practices are guaranteed or endorsed unless the site expressly says so.

COMS branding, website design, software and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Technology and infrastructure are supplied by IRELCO LTD. Third-party names, marks and material remain the property of their respective owners.
